Course Fees

Course fees quoted in this brochure comprise of the tuition fee, and certificate and/or resource fees where applicable and as stated. These charges are payable in full at time of enrolment. Certificated courses lead to nationally recognised qualifications therefore completion of the course is necessary.

Certificate fees are included in Fees A & B and are identified as the balance of Fee C. Please note these may be subject to potential change by awarding bodies prior to the start of the course. There are no exams attached to accredited arts courses (A/AS Level excepting). Assessment is by coursework submission only.

Concessions

Fee A - No Concessions

Fee B Non-Certificate weekly courses only - 20% reduction for learners over 60 on 1 Sept 09

Fee C - Free certificated course fees (cert. fees must be paid) and 75% reduction on non-certificated courses for:

- those students aged 16 and under 19 (when course commences),

- those students receiving Job Seekers Allowance,Income Support, Working Families Tax Credit (subject to threshold), Housing/Council tax benefit, Pension tax credit - guaranteed credit only

- an unwaged dependent of listed above.

Proof of entitlement to all concessions must be provided at time of booking. Failure to do this will not guarantee you a place on the course.

Special Learning Support

If you have particular needs (e.g. due to a physical disability), or need special learning support (e.g. for dyslexia) please contact the Centre to arrange a confidential discussion with a senior staff member.

Refunds

Applications for full refunds for courses must be received in writing at least 10 working days prior to the start of the course. After this date, no refund is available. All course fees consist of a non-refundable £15 deposit/administration fee.
